Birthrights to Kindle Unlimited, a price reduction, and more news

After reacquiring the rights to the Revisions to the Truth series, one of my first steps was to update the ebook of Birthrights. Here are the changes in the new version:

    • Reflowable text — The original publisher outsourced the ebook creation to an Indian firm who used fixed pages. The new ebook uses reflowable text for an improved reading experience.
    • Edited Broken Oaths excerpt — The developmental editing of Book 2, Broken Oaths, is complete. The excerpt at the back of Birthrights now reflects these editing changes.
    • Publisher change — Yellow Wood Press (a future blog will go into more detail about this press) is now the publisher of record

In addition to these minor changes, I’ve also reduced the list price of the ebook from $7.99 to $4.99. And to make the book even more accessible, I’ve enrolled Birthrights in the Kindle Unlimited program with Amazon. On November 7, the new version of Birthrights will be available on Amazon.

The other exciting news is that progress continues on Broken Oaths. I’m in the process of incorporating the developmental edit feedback and am working concurrently with Dagmara Matuszak, the amazing artist who did the cover for Birthrights, to design the cover for Broken Oaths. Expect the cover reveal by year end.
